We have to have a hard discussion at the upcoming Annual Meeting regarding the future of the Association.

With the resignation of VP John Koon, the loss of use of the Northern Ranges, only having the Riverside Range available for matches and the dwindling attendance overall we need to discuss possibly dissolving the Association. For 2025 we tried the League format and that did seem to work out, however, with no “match sponsors” all the work fell to just a few. The League format has some merit, and we could in theory, actually have one match weekend per month moving forward.

We can discuss dissolving the CPPA as it is and rename, for example – the SoCal Police Pistol League…or something to that effect. I would expect that all members of the CPPA would be rolled into the new League much as happened when the CPA transitioned to the CPPA.

Apologies for getting this posted late, but that is one of the things that happens when one person is basically doing most of the work.
